Nick Marshall had a big week on the glass despite the Pioneers' 0-2 record. On Tuesday, Marshall grabbed a team-leading 13 rebounds and dished out three assists in East Bay's loss at Division I opponent USF. On Saturday, he was the Pioneers' best offensive weapon in a narrow 77-75 defeat at Academy of Art. The senior forward led the team with 16 points and eight boards, shooting 7-for-15 from the field. For the week, Marshall pulled in 21 rebounds to lead the Pioneers and ranked second with 20 points. He was the only East Bay player to average a double-double in the two games.
