Tenney led the Pioneers to a 169-105 win over Azusa Pacific at Pioneer Pool on Saturday by winning three races and setting a new school record. The sophomore picked up victories in the 50 free, 200 back, and 400 IM. In the IM, Tenney touched the wall in 4:42.28, breaking her own Pioneer record in the event by nearly two seconds. Tenney's rare appearance in the 50 free was a memorable one, as she beat out Azusa's Quinn Robertson with a time of 24.77. In the 200 back, Tenney posted a three-second win over teammate Bethany Hoopman with a time of 2:10.87. Finally, she and teammate Caitlin DeNise led off the meet with a first-place finish in the 200 Medley Relay.
