Diaz scored the tying goal in the Pioneers' 1-1 deadlock against Cal State L.A. on September 21. It was the first goal of the season for the four-year senior from Richmond, Calif. She also played an outstanding overall game in the Pioneers' 2-1 victory over Cal State Dominguez Hills the following night. The victory was the first for the Pioneers in CCAA play this season.
