Swimmer Madison Hauanio is the CSUEB Female Athlete of the Week for Dec. 15-21. She concluded the UNLV Winter Invitational last Monday with a pair of impressive swims against top quality competition at Buchanan Natatorium. She was part of the 400 freestyle relay team that finished sixth with a season-best time of 3:31.60 in the morning. Then in the afternoon, Hauanio broke the school record in the 200 backstroke, placing 10th in the finals. She took more than five seconds of her season best time over the course of Monday's prelims and finals.
