Zac Chuvala enters his second year as an assistant coach for Pioneer baseball in 2015-16. He was Cal State East Bay's starting shortstop for his junior and senior years after transferring from Scottsdale Community College.
Originally from Fort Collins, Colo., Chuvala was an honorable mention All-CCAA selection in 2013 after batting .296 for the season.Â
