Michael Frantz enters his second season as an assistant baseball coach at Cal State East Bay in 2018-19. A former infielder for the Pioneers, Frantz competing in 67 games over two seasons after transferring from Yuba College. In 2016, he helped CSUEB capture a share of the CCAA North Division title, break the school record for victories, and earn the program's first trip to the NCAA DII Regionals in 39 years.
