Just a short time removed from his playing career at Cal State East Bay, Enrique Nunez returned to the Pioneer baseball program as an assistant coach in 2025.
In 2023 and 2024, Nunez was an assistant baseball coach at his alma mater, Washington High School in Fremont, California.
In the 2022 season at East Bay, Nunez appeared in 23 games and started nine. On April 15 that season, he had three RBIs against Cal State LA.
Before becoming a Pioneer, Nunez played baseball at Laney College.
Nunez earned a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology in 2022 from Cal State East Bay.
