AS A JUNIOR (2011): Named to the All-CCAA baseball team…Recorded a 6-2 record with a 3.01 ERA…In 54 innings… Hurled three complete games…Won last four decisions and recorded 31 strikeouts in last five appearances on the mound…Closed the season with 13 earned runs allowed in 49 innings.   

AT SOUTHWESTERN COLLEGE: Played two seasons at Southwestern College…Served as a captain in 2009-10…Received honorable mention all-conference honors as a pitcher at Southwestern College.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Prepped at Santana High School where he pitched for four years…Served as team captain during his senior campaign…Collected second-team all-league honors in 2008…Pitched four seasons with San Diego Piranhas, serving as captain for two years.

PERSONAL: A kinesiology major…Enjoys sports…Favorite food is chicken…Models himself after Chicago White Sox right-hander Jake Peavy…Lists “Four Brothers” and “The Departed” as his favorite movies…Enjoys listening to Atreyu…Chose Cal State East Bay because of the good competition in Division II… Has one older brother, Justyn…Born Dec. 14, 1989…Parents are Marily and Lynn Bell.
