JUNIOR (2015): Appeared in 18 games and started three of them...Posted a 4.54 ERA in 41.2 Innings pitched...Third on team with 23 strikeouts...Over his last 30.1 inninigs pitched, Angel posted a 2.97 ERA while only walking six batters...He was named West Region and CCAA Pitcher of the Week for March 9-15 for a series against Cal State Dominguez Hills where he saved all three Pioneer victories in the four-game series...During the Dominguez Hills series, Lara didn't allow a single batter to reach base in four innings of work.
