AS A RS SENIOR (2014):

AS A SENIOR (2013): Spent the 2013 season at East Bay, but did not compete, utilizing a redshirt.

AT EMPORIA STATE (2011-12): Competed for the Hornets for one season... Played in 13 games, making five starts in 2012.

AT LOS MEDANOS CC (2009-11): Competed for the Mustangs for two seasons... Named All-Conference as a freshman... Selected as a 2011 pre-season All-American... Hit .277 with 19 RBI as a sophomore, making the Defensive All-League team.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: A 2009 graduate of Freedom High School... Member of baseball team that won the North Coast Section Championship his senior year... Named All-League by the BVAL as a senior... Made the Honor Roll all four years... Member of the Filipino Club and Black Student Union... Also played club baseball for Bercovich Baseball, the Oakland Baseball Club, and the ASA Spartans. 

PERSONAL: Majoring in biology... Hobbies include snowboarding and wakeboarding... Favorite athlete is Buster Posey... Favorite food is pepperoni pizza... Favorite movies are Step Brothers and Dumb & Dumber... Enjoys listening to rap and hip-hop music... Chose Cal State East Bay because of the weather... Born February 21, 1991... Parents are Vince Buchanan and Roberta Ortega.
