AS A JUNIOR (2010): Posted a 5-5 record with a staff-best 68 strikeouts…Tied a school record with 15 strikeouts in a game and received CCAA Pitcher of the Week honors after a 4-1 complete game victory over Cal Poly Pomona… Held opposing batters to a .275 average, best among all Pioneer starters…In the CCAA, Jinkens was 5-4 and ranked eighth with 55 strikeouts…Selected as the team’s Pitcher of the Year…Collected CCAA All-Academic honors.

AT SIERRA COLLEGE: Pitched one season at Sierra College…Helped the Wolverines capture the State Championship and finish second in the Big 8 Conference.

AT SACRAMENTO STATE: Played one year at Sacramento State…Made six appearances with one start for the Hornets as a rookie.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: A three-sport athlete at Wheatland High School…Named All-Butte View League, all-section and all-area as a senior…Led the Pirates both on the mound and at the plate as a senior…Collected Puma All-America honors as a senior…Named all-league as a junior…Quarterbacked the freshman team that won a league title in 2002.
