AS A FRESHMAN (2010): Appeared in 29 games with 14 starts…Started six games behind the plate…Hit .210 overall and .224 in CCAA play…Hit .571 versus left handed pitching (8-14) and .500 (5-10) when leading off an inning…Went 3-for-3 with a double and triple and drove in a run in the final game of the season against Cal State LA.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Prepped at North High School where he played baseball and football for four years…Received All-Area and first-team all-league honors in baseball…Also played four seasons at linebacker and strong safety for the Stars, serving as captain all four years…Also worked as a Peer Tutor at NHS.
