HAYWARD, Calif. — The No. 12 ranked Cal State East Bay women's golf team has earned a berth in the NCAA Division II West Regional, the NCAA announced Sunday.

The Pioneers secured their postseason spot following a strong and consistent 2025-26 campaign against competitive fields throughout the West Region. CSUEB's No. 12 ranking places the program among the region's top teams and in position to compete for a national championship berth.

East Bay opened the season with a third-place finish at the RJGA Shootout at Estrella and continued to build momentum with multiple top-five finishes during the spring, including a third-place showing at the RJGA Palm Valley Classic and a fourth-place finish at the WT Desert Invitational.

CSUEB capped the regular season with a fourth-place finish at the CCAA Women's Golf Championships, closing the tournament with its strongest round and demonstrating steady improvement against conference competition.

Throughout the season, the Pioneers showcased depth and resilience, consistently competing near the top of leaderboards while navigating challenging courses across multiple states.

The NCAA West Regional will feature the top teams from across the region competing for a chance to advance to the NCAA Division II National Championships later in May.

With momentum heading into postseason play, the Pioneers will look to continue their strong season on the national stage.
