Tyree Campbell capped a historic 2025-26 season by leading Cal State East Bay to a 30-0 record and the No. 1 seed in the NCAA Division II West Regional,  which the Pioneers will host this weekend. 

Campbell was named the D2CCA West Region Player of the Year, the 2025-26 CCAA Player of the Year, and earned CCAA Men's Basketball Championships All-Tournament Team honors. He started all 30 games, averaging 14.2 points and 4.1 rebounds per contest while shooting 52.1 percent from the field and 45.6  percent from three-point range. He totaled 425 points, 124 rebounds, 47 steals,  and 33 assists on the year. 

His season included a 22-point performance at San Francisco State (Dec. 4), 21 points on 10-of-14 shooting against UC Merced (Feb. 28), 10 rebounds at  Cal State LA (Dec. 21), five three-pointers at Cal State Dominguez Hills (Dec.19), and four steals against Cal Poly Pomona (March 6). Campbell's efficiency, consistency and leadership have been central to the Pioneers' undefeated run and top seed in the West Region.
