FT. MYERS, Fla. - Small College Basketball and the National Awards Committee announced Sunday the Bevo Francis Award Top 50 Watch List for the 2025-26 men's basketball season. On that watch list is Cal State East Bay men's basketball senior guard
Tyree Campbell. The watch list features 50 premier basketball players representing NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA, USCAA, and NCCAA programs. The Clarence "Bevo" Francis Award is presented annually to a player who had the finest overall season throughout Small College Basketball, with the consideration of statistics, individual achievements, awards, personal character and team accomplishments.

Tyree Campbell is averaging 14.2 points per game and 4.0 rebounds per game. He scored a season-high 22 points on December 4 against San Francisco State in the CCAA opener. In 24 games on the floor, Campbell has scored in double figures for 19 of them this season. From beyond the arc, Campbell is shooting from a remarkable .479 clip (46-for-96), averaging 1.9 3-pointers a game. Defensively, Campbell has four blocks and 37 steals.
On March 15, the Top 25 players will be announced, then on April 4, the finalists of this year's award will be announced, followed by the Bevo Francis Award winner final announcement on April 6. The award is in its 10th year of being a postseason honor.
