ALISA VIEJO, CALIF. - Cal State East Bay women's soccer capped off its strong season with five student-athletes earning All-CCAA recognition, highlighted by
Mika Sayfurahman, who was named the CCAA Midfielder of the Year and an All-CCAA First Team selection.
MIDFIELDER OF THE YEAR/FIRST TEAM ALL-CCAA
Mika Sayfurahman, Midfielder, Sr. – Livermore/UC Davis
Sayfurahman was named the CCAA Midfielder of the Year for the second time in her career. After winning the award first as a sophomore in 2023, Sayfurahman closed out her senior year by again being voted by the coaches as the best midfielder in the conference. She ranked second in the CCAA with 1.06 points per game, scoring seven goals (second in CCAA) and registering four assists (fourth). The Livermore native recorded a hat-trick against San Francisco State and closed the regular season by scoring in each of the final three matches.
SECOND TEAM ALL-CCAA
Morgan Pearson, Forward, Sr. - San Ramon/Dougherty Valley HS
Pearson was one of the conference's most consistent attacking threats, finishing second on the team with six goals and two assists for 14 total points. She netted two game-winning goals, including clutch performances in wins over Stanislaus State and San Francisco State.
Abigail Kern, Defender, Sr. – Stockton/Univ. of Connecticut
Kern anchored the Pioneer back line while also contributing a goal and four assists. A two-time All-CCAA honoree, she started 17 matches and was instrumental in East Bay's four shutouts on the year.
HONORABLE MENTION ALL-CCAA
Ashley Levi, Goalkeeper, Sr. – Brentwood/Vanguard Univ.
Levi earned CCAA Honorable Mention after a stellar campaign in net. She posted a .800 save percentage and a 1.04 goals-against average across 15 starts, finishing the season with six wins and four shutouts.
