The 2024-25 athletic year officially begins next Thursday, September 5 for Cal State East Bay. The fall season begins with action in September for men's and women's soccer, women's volleyball, men's and women's cross country, men's and women's golf and women's swimming.
 
For a majority of events hosted by Cal State East Bay and other CCAA institutions, you can watch the action on CCAA on FloSports starting this season.

Below are highlights of each team's fall schedule.
 

WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL

• The first official athletic event of the season takes place on the road on Thursday, September 5 when the Pioneers take on Minnesota Crookston in the first match of the Steel City Classic in Pueblo, Colorado. The tournament continues through Saturday, September 7.
• From September 12-14, the Pioneers co-host the Route 92 Classic with select matches taking place inside Pioneer Gymnasium. The home opener is also the tournament opener on September 12 featuring UH Hilo and Cal State East Bay.
• CCAA action begins on September 20 against Chico State.
• The Pioneers host 2023 NCAA Division II National Champion Cal State LA on October 5.
• As part of Alumni Weekend, the Pioneers host Cal State Monterey Bay on October 17.
• Senior Night takes place on Thursday, November 7 against SF State.
• The regular season finale takes place on November 16 at Chico State.

WOMEN'S SOCCER

• The 2024 season opens north of the border for the Pioneers as they take on Simon Fraser for a road match on September 5.
• Thursday, September 19 marks the 2024 home opener with East Bay hosting UC Merced.
• Senior Day takes place on Saturday, September 28 against CSUSM.
• As part of Alumni Weekend, the Pioneers host San Francisco State on October 17.
• The home finale is set for November 3 against Stanislaus State and the regular season finale will take place on the road at CSUSM on November 7.

MEN'S SOCCER

• On Friday, September 6, the Pioneers take on Dominican in the season opener as part of the Humboldt Kickoff Classic.
• The home opener for East Bay takes place on Saturday, September 14 against Menlo.
• Senior Day takes place on Saturday, September 28 against CSUSM.
• As part of Alumni Weekend, the Pioneers host San Francisco State on October 17.
• The home finale is set for November 3 against Stanislaus State and the regular season finale will take place on the road at CSUSM on November 7.

MEN'S AND WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY

• Both Pioneer cross country teams will start the season on Saturday, September 7 in Fresno for the Seawolf Invite/CCAA Preview at Woodward Park.
• East Bay will compete in four more regular season meets, concluding with the Bronco Invitational on October 19 in Sunnyvale at Baylands Regional Park.
• The postseason begins on Friday, October 25 when the Pioneers return to Woodward Park for the 2024 CCAA Cross Country Championships.
• The NCAA Division II West Regional meet takes place Saturday, November 9 in Billings, Montana.

WOMEN'S GOLF

• The 2024-25 season tees off on Monday, September 16 with the opening round of the RJGA Shootout at Estrella in Goodyear, Arizona.
• Four more tournaments round out the fall schedule for the Pioneers with the final two in Hawaii in October.

MEN'S GOLF

• The 2024 fall season for the Pioneers includes five tournaments, starting on Thursday, September 26 with the Saint Martin's Bishop Invitational in DuPont, Washington.
• The final two tournaments of the fall season take place in Hawaii in late October.

WOMEN'S SWIMMING

• Saturday, September 28 marks the first meet of the 2024-25 season as the Pioneers travel to Stockton for a dual meet at Pacific.
• The Pioneers host back-to-back dual meets against Simon Fraser on November 1 and 2 from Pioneer Pool.
• The fall season wraps up with the La Verne Winter Collegiate Invite on the campus of East LA College.
