WINTER GARDEN, Fla. – The 2024 NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championships continued Wednesday from Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge. After two rounds Cal State East Bay sits in 13th place among 18 teams at a team score of 599, which is currently 12 strokes back of eighth place which represents the final spot to qualify for medal match play.
- The lowest second round score for East Bay on Wednesday was even par 72 from Julika Grosspietsch, as she sits tied for 67th on the leaderboard at 8-over-par 152. She had four birdies on Wednesday.
- Also with four birdies on Wednesday was Jasmin Krishna, who is currently tied for 42nd on the leaderboard.
- Mandi Granato and Alma Garcia each had two birdies on Wednesday. Granato currently has the lowest individual score among the Pioneers at 3-over-par 147 (70-77).
Through 36 holes there is a tie for first on the leaderboard between Gabby Woods of Findlay and Madison Murr of Cal State San Marcos, each at 6-under-par 138. Flagler College holds the top spot for team scoring through Wednesday's action.
The final round of the 2024 NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championships is scheduled for a Thursday tee time of 7:30 a.m. ET (4:30 a.m. Pacific). The top eight teams after Thursday's final round of stroke play advance to Match Medal Play on Friday.
