GAME SUMMARY

Luke Brown opened the scoring with a solo home run to right field in the bottom of the first innings and later in the inning, Matthew O'Mahony singled to left field to drive in Alonzo Guijarro for a 2-0 lead.

The Toros took a 3-2 lead in the top of the second inning with three runs.

Guijarro led off the bottom of the third with a solo home run to left field to tie the game at 3-3. After the home run, O'Mahony doubled, and advanced to third base after a single from Quinn Ayres. O'Mahony scored the go-ahead run after a sacrifice fly RBI by Sam Gilliam.

Although bases-loaded walk in the top of the fourth tied the game for CSUDH, a wild pitch in the bottom of the fourth allowed Danelle Daniels to score and give the Pioneers a 5-4 lead.

The Toros would tie the game at 5-5 in the top of the fifth inning on an RBI single from Jeffrey Ray. One inning later, CSUDH went ahead 7-5 on a two-run home run by Alex Sepulveda. CSUEB would not score in the final two innings as the Toros went on to a 7-5 win in seven scheduled innings.
