ALAMEDA, Calif. – Cal State East Bay women's golf wrapped up the Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout at Corica Park on Tuesday. The Pioneers finished first in the team competition, winning their home tournament for the second straight year.

• Senior Julika Grosspietsch finished the second day with a score of 1-over-par 73 for a tournament score of 2-over-par 146 which tied her for sixth on the leaderboard. Of the 36 holes played throughout Monday and Tuesday, Grosspietsch had three birdies.
• Mandi Granato and Jasmin Krishna wrapped up the tournament with a score of 149 (+5). Krishna fired a 73 on Tuesday and Granato shot a 74 on the second round. Throughout the tournament, Krishna also finished with three birdies.
• Junior Makena Ebster shot the low round of the day for the Pioneers as she shot an even par 72. She led CSUEB in even par holes with 14 among the 36 played.

Morgan Sjoerdsma of Cal State Los Angeles won the individual competition at 5-under-par 139 (68-71).

Because the Pioneers' first scheduled tournament of the spring season was canceled on February 5-6, this week's tournament became the opener for the 2024 Spring Season.

The Pioneers' next competition will have them traveling to Southern California for the CSUSM Fujikura Invitational, taking place on March 11-12 at Shadowridge Golf Club in Vista.
