STOCKTON, Calif. - High winds at The Reserve at Spanos Park led to the cancelation of Tuesday's second round of the Bay Area Invitational. As a result, the Cal State East Bay women's golf team was declared champions for team scoring with a first place finish from Monday's opening round. 

Individually, Drishti Karumbaya was one of two golfers to place first atop the leaderboard at even par 72, and had three birdies and 12 even par holes. 

Next Monday and Tuesday, the Pioneers host the Tim Tierney Pioneer Invitational from Corica Park in Alameda.
