Cal State East Bay men's and women's golf coach
Chris Oetinger spoke about the Pioneers' finish in the tournament:
"Tough finish for the ladies today. We showed many signs of brilliance but in the end we fell short of our goals. As a team we were solid tee to green. Our weakness this week was the putter. We will learn from this experience and these lessons will pay dividends down the road. Our players know that we need to get to work on our flat-sticks as we prepare to bounce back in Albuquerque."
Cal State East Bay men's and women's assistant golf coach
Arrianna Custodio added:
"These girls battled out there in windy conditions. It's not where we wanted to finish, but we'll take this as an opportunity to learn and grind it out for our next one in Albuquerque."
