HAYWARD, Calif. – The Cal State East Bay women's basketball lost its fourth straight game on Saturday, falling 68-56 to Stanislaus State in CCAA action from Pioneer Gymnasium.
Though the Pioneers did not build any significant lead in the first half, they led by as many as five points in the first half and took a 33-28 lead into halftime.
Delia Moore extended the Pioneers' lead to seven in the first minute of action in the third quarter, but the Warriors scored the next 11 points, and ultimately limited the Pioneers to seven points in the quarter to take a 50-40 lead into the final quarter.
Cal State East Bay was unable to put together any runs that would cut the deficit, and Stanislaus State pulled away for a 68-56 win.
- Scoring a season-high 23 points was Jaela Richardson, as she went 10-for-15 from the floor and made three free throws.
- With a team-high seven rebounds for the Pioneers was Grace Campbell.
- Campbell also had two blocks and two steals.
- Makayla Rose from Stanislaus State led all scorers with 25 points on Saturday.
