CHICO, Calif. - Along with Tuesday's announcement of the 2022 CCAA Women's Soccer Preseason Poll, the conference also announced its Preseason Watchlist. On the watchlist from Cal State East Bay is senior defender Jill Nelsen. 

During the 2021 season, Nelsen started all 20 matches for the Pioneers, including 1,872 minutes on the field and recorded one assist. She was an All-CCAA Second Team selection and had multiple postseason academic honors. 

The Pioneers begin their 2022 campaign on Thursday, August 25 when they host Northwest Nazarene from Pioneer Stadium for a 5 p.m. kickoff.
