Zack Perlstein scored a career-high 25 points to lead all scorers and lift the Cal State East Bay men's basketball team to a road victory over Sonoma State, 80-69, Thursday night at The Wolves' Den.

East Bay led by six at halftime, 34-28, but trailed by as many as six in the second half. However, the Pioneers used a 16-0 run capped off by Perlstein's short jumper in the paint to build a 73-62 lead with 3:57 remaining in the game.
