Cal State East Bay assistant coach
Chris Oetinger shared his thoughts about the Pioneers' performance throughout the tournament. "Not a great event for our Pioneer ladies," stated Oetinger. "We had a difficult time adjusting to the grass conditions on the course. We have a lot to digest and learn from this event. We hope to make better adjustments with the quick turnaround for the [Dennis Rose Invitational]."
Cal State San Marcos was the team champion of the tournament, and Breann Horn was the individual medalist finishing atop the leaderboard at 7-under-par 137.
The Pioneers' quick turnaround includes hopping islands in Hawaii to participate in the Dennis Rose Invitational this coming Friday and Saturday at Hapuna Golf Course in Kohala Coast, Hawaii.
