CHICO, Calif. - The weekly awards for volleyball from the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) were announced Tuesday for the week of October 10-16. 

In the Pioneers' two victories during the week, Green had 31 digs and five total blocks. Her defensive effort with digs led to two double doubles during the week as she 10 kills and 13 digs on Thursday and 16 kills with 18 digs on Saturday. 

During Saturday's 3-1 win for Cal State Monterey Bay, Green had a season-high four total blocks. 

The weekly honor from the CCAA was the first of the 2022 season awarded to a member of the Pioneers volleyball program. 

Cal State East Bay is set to play two home matches this week, with a matchup against Stanislaus State on Thursday evening and an afternoon contest against Chico State on Saturday.
