HAYWARD, Calif. — The Cal State East Bay women's basketball team won its 12th-consecutive game on Saturday afternoon, defeating Sonoma State, 68-58, at Pioneer Gym.
Sophomore forward
Mina Tameliau scored a team-high 17 points on 7-of-12 shooting from the field, while junior guard
Delia Moore scored 13 points with four rebounds and three assists.
Freshman guard
Christina Bacci scored a season-high 10 points on a perfect 4-of-4 shooting from the field, junior
Grace Campbell added seven points with five rebounds and freshman
Taylor Linzie had seven points and 10 rebounds.
CSUEB led 32-25 at halftime and pulled away in the third quarter by outscoring the Seawolves in the period 21-13.
Cal State East Bay (13-1, 8-0 CCAA) resumes action on the road next week, as the Pioneers take on Cal State San Bernardino on Jan. 27 before playing at Cal Poly Pomona on Jan. 29.
