HAYWARD, Calif. — East Bay swim senior Isabel Rishwain and men's cross country senior Luke Calubayan have been named CSUEB Athletes of the Week.

Rishwain posted the Pioneers' top times in the in the 100 and 200 freestyles during Saturday's meet against University of the Pacific. The Stockton native posted a 200 freestyle time of 1-minute, 56.20 seconds, while finishing the 100 free in 53.70. In addition, Rishwain was part of the 200 freestyle relay team that set the day's best mark from either side of 1:39.56.

Meanwhile, Calubayan finished first for East Bay for the second-consecutive meet to begin the 2021 season at the Mike Johnson Classic in Monmouth, Ore. A native of Thousand Oaks, Calubayan's 8K time of 25-minutes, 53.9-seconds placed 16th among all collegiate runners and 19th overall out of 138 total competitors who scored in the event.
