FINAL RESULTS
SAN DIEGO — The Cal State East Bay women's golf team began its Fall schedule this week, placing 9th overall at Point Loma's PLNU Sea Lion Invitational at Rancho Bernardo Inn Golf Course.
The Pioneers shot a combined 643 (+67) over the two days, with a score of 317 in Round 2 on Tuesday.
Senior
Drishti Karumbaya led CSUEB by placing in a tie for seventh place behind a two-day score of 151 (+7). The Mysore, India native shot 74 in Round 1 and followed it up with a 77 in Round 2.
Fellow senior
Arrianna Custodio finished in a tie for 34th with a score of 162 (+18) over the two-day stretch. A native of Elk Grove, Custodio shot an 81 on both days.
junior
Gabbie Puspoki and senior
Caroline Berge finished in a tie for 42nd place (165/ +21), while junior
Cassandra Puspoki placed 54th ((173/ +29).
CSUEB returns to action on Sept. 27, as the Pioneers compete in the RJCA Shootout at Estella, hosted by Western New Mexico University.
