TURLOCK, Calif. — The Cal State East Bay women's basketball team earned an emphatic victory over on Saturday afternoon over Holy Names, 77-29, at the Warrior Classic hosted by Stanislaus State.
Senior guard
Madison Schiller was one of four Pioneers who scored in double figures, finishing with a team-high 14 points on 6-of-7 shooting with three rebounds, three assists and two steals.
Freshman guard
Abigail Cooper scored a career-best 13 points with five rebounds and four steals, senior guard
Delia Moore recorded 12 points and senior forward
Faith Turner finished with 10 points and five rebounds.
East Bay jumped out to a big lead and led 18-5 after the first quarter. The Pioneers held Holy Names to just seven points in the third quarter and six in the fourth.
CSUEB (3-1) resumes non-conference play next week with a road contest against Dominican on Tuesday, Nov. 23, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
