HAYWARD, Calif. — The Cal State East Bay women's soccer has a conference championship at stake this week at home, as the Pioneers play host to Stanislaus State for Senior Day on Thursday, Nov. 4, beginning at 2 p.m.

CSUEB (9-4-3, 6-2-2 CCAA) currently sits in second place in the CCAA standings, and have amassed 20 points in the conference play. A win Thursday against Stan State would secure a top-two seed in the CCAA Championship Semifinals on Nov. 12, while a victory coupled with a loss or tie by first-place Stanislaus State would give East Bay the conference crown outright.

First-place Sonoma State (21 points) and third-place SF State (20 points) face each other this Thursday, while fourth-place Chico State (19 points) also plays host to last-place Humboldt State. The conference's No. 3 and No. 4-seeds will host First-Round CCAA Tournament contests next Sunday, Nov. 7.

You can view the complete CCAA standings here.

The Pioneers are unbeaten in four of their last five contests, but are 0-2-1 in their last three meetings against Stan State (7-6-3, 4-3-3).

CSUEB earned a road victory over third-place SF State on Oct. 29, which was  the 22nd career victory for head coach Robin Hart. The fourth-year head coach now has the third-most wins in Pioneer history behind only Colin Lindores (122) and Amy Gerace (111).

Senior Tami Kwong scored her team-leading sixth goal of the season in the win off an assist from freshman Jenna Villanueva, who now has five this season. Senior Lauren Inman scored on a penalty kick late in the 48th minute to put East Bay back on top for good, and sophomore Majae De Leon's goal in the 52nd minute off an assist from Riley Spitzer made it 3-1.

Kwong's six goals are tied for the most in the CCAA this season, while Spitzer and Villanueva are tied for most assists (5) in the conference.
