House Cleaning: Pios Sweep Humboldt State

HAYWARD, Calif. — The Cal State East Bay volleyball team earned an impressive home sweep in conference play, defeating Humboldt State, 3-0, Saturday afternoon at Pioneer Gym.

CSUEB (7-9, 2-6 CCAA) has now won five-straight matches against Humboldt State, and eight in a row at home against the Lumberjacks.

Redshirt freshman Mia Jordan led the way with nine kills and a team-high five blocks, while junior Breyan Ashley also tallied nine kills and junior Kara Green finished with seven kills and 11 digs.

Cal State East Bay returns to action at home against Cal State San Marcos in its Dig Pink game on Thursday, Oct. 14, beginning at 3 p.m.
