SANTA ROSA, Calif. — The Cal State East Bay women's golf team placed 10th at this week's Sonoma State Fall Invitational held at Valley of the Moon club.
The Pioneers shot a combined 646 (+70) as a team, finishing well ahead of 11th-place Hawaii Pacific (672/+96), and just one shot behind Cal State LA (645/+69) and five back of Dominican (641/+65).
Senior and reigning CCAA Golfer of the Week
Drishti Karumbaya finished tied for 15th overall after shooting a combined 157 over the two-day stretch, while
Caroline Berge tied for 29th (161/+17) and Arianna Custodio finished tied for 34th (163/+19).
In addition, junior
Gabbie Puspoki completed the day tied for 47th (168/+24) and
Alexis Esguerra was tied for 57th (171/+27).
CSUEB returns to action on Oct. 18, as the Pioneers compete in the Skyhawk Women's Fall Intercollegiate in Albuquerque, N.M.
