CHICO, Calif. — The Cal State East Bay volleyball team fell short in a road contest at Chico State on Friday night, 3-0 (25-18, 26-24, 25-21).
Junior
Breyan Ashley led the Pioneers with nine kills and six digs, redshirt freshman
Mia Jordan had seven kills with three blocks, freshman
Alexandria Gloria tallied eight digs and redshirt freshman setter
Megan Crecelius finished with 19 assists.
East Bay play hard throughout the match and lost a close second set, 26-24, which led the the road defeat.
CSUEB (8-13, 3-10 CCAA) returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 30, as the Pioneers wrap up their five-match road trip at Stanislaus State beginning at 5 p.m.
