ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Senior
Caroline Berge shot a 148 (+4) at this week's Nick Turner Invitational to earn a tie for eighth place and lift the Cal State East Bay women's golf team to a seventh-place finish to wrap up its 2021-22 Fall Schedule.
The Pioneers shot 611 and +35 as a team, finishing 10 strokes ahead of eighth-place Colorado Mesa (621/+45) and just three back of sixth-place St. Mary's of Texas (608/+32).
Berge shot a 74 on consecutive days, while senior teammate
Drishti Karumbaya shot a 151 (+7) over the two-day stretch to tied for 16th place. Senior
Arrianna Custodio tied for 25th after shooting 154/+10, while junior
Gabbie Puspoki and senior
Sachika Singh tied for 43rd place by shooting 160/+16).
This week's action concludues the fall season for CSUEB, as the Pioneers begin the Spring season at the Visit Stockton Invitational on Feb. 14.
