HAYWARD, Calif. — Cal State East Bay honors its senior student-athletes for spring 2020 with Salute to Seniors, this time highlighting softball seniors
Bailee Glover,
Jennifer Palmares and
Emilie Portesi.
Glover leaves the program after making 103 career appearances in the pitcher's circle with 71 starts and 85 total strikeouts, highlighted by earning All-CCAA Second Team honors as a sophomore in 2018. That season, the Reno, Nev., native pitched over 85 total innings with a 3.28 ERA.
Bailey Glover
Palmares led the Pioneers in total hits as a senior in 2020, and leaves the program after starting 167 of 173 contests over four seasons. The Elk Grove native has finished in the top three in batting average for East Bay in each of her four seasons and earned CCAA Honorable Mention as a sophomore in 2018. In addition, Palmares ranks fourth in program history with 40 career doubles.

Portesi has appeared in 151 contests with 139 starts in her four-year career with the Pioneers — highlighted by hitting three home runs in her first-career game as a freshman in 2017 against Academy of Art, including two homers in one inning. The Chino native has hit eight-career home runs and led East Bay in runs scored as a senior in 2020 while finishing a perfect 10-for-10 in stolen base attempts.
