HAYWARD, Calif. — The Cal State East Bay softball team will not travel this weekend to Southern California for a four-game set against Cal State San Marcos on March 13-14.
While there are no confirmed cases on any East Bay campus as of Wednesday, March 12, the university's goal is to reduce the density of people on campus in order to help mitigate the spread of the transmission of COVID-19.
Cal State East Bay Athletics continues to work diligently with CSUEB campus officials to take preventative measures and combat the evolving coronavirus situation in our region.Â
Pioneer Athletics will continue to monitor the situation and follow advice from the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as well as the Alameda County Public Health Department (ACPHD).Â
