TURLOCK, Calif. — The Cal State East Bay softball team got two dominant pitching performances to sweep Saturday's conference doubleheader at Stanislaus State.

Abby Greer had another spectacular outing this week to earn her third victory of the season, while junior
Anamaria Beard recorded her first win in the circle as a Pioneer.
Cal State East Bay concludes its busy week with a 4-2 record.

Greer tossed a complete game, allowing just one run on four hits while striking out seven.Â
Meanwhile, senior
Jennifer Palmares finished 3-for-4, while junior
Maddie Ramirez went 2-for-4 with an RBI double in the bottom of the first to put CSUEB on top for good.

Beard tossed her first complete game en route to recording her first victory in a Pioneer uniform to finish off Saturday's sweep.
Beard allowed one run, none earned, while allowing seven hits, as Cal State East Bay overcame a 1-0 deficit by scoring two runs in the top of the sixth.Â
Fukushima finished 2-for-4 with a run scored, Littles went 2-for-3 and freshman
Ashley Bline recorded her first-career RBI.
CSUEB (5-10, 3-5 CCAA) returns to action at home next weekend, as the Pioneers continue conference play against "Battle of the Bays" rival Cal State Monterey Bay on Feb. 21-22.Â
