AS A JUNIOR (2019): NFCA All-West Region Second Team ... All-CCAA First Team ... Started all 48 games ... Led the team with a .374 batting average, 59 hits, a .494 on-base percentage and 27 runs scored ... Five home runs and nine doubles ranked second on the team ... Tallied 17 RBI ... Drew 16 walks ... Stole five bases ... Went 4-for-5 with three RBI against Chadron State (2/7) ... Finished 4-for-4 with three runs scored in a win over Central Washington (2/9) ... Went 3-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored against Cal State Dominguez Hills (4/12).

AS A SOPHOMORE (2018): Appeared in 53 games with 52 starts...Was third on the team with a batting average of .305 and was the team leader with an OB% of .412...Tied for first on the team in RBI's (34)...Had 47 hits, recorded 3 home runs and was second on the team in SLG% (.461)...Led the team in catches with 407 and in FLD% with .990

AS A FRESHMAN (2017): All-CCAA First Team ... Finished second in the CCAA with a team-leading 14 home runs with a .629 slugging percentage, which was good for third in the conference...Two-time CCAA Player of the Week in 2017 after playing and starting in all 52 games with team highs in hits (50), runs (42), RBIs (43) and total bases (100)...First East Bay player to receive the award twice in the same season...CSUEB Female Freshman Athlete of the Year...

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Graduated from Sheldon High School in 2016... Competed on the softball team all four years... Captured back-to-back CIF Championships in 2015 and 2016... Named All-Delta River League Second Team in 2015... Batted .462 with .550 obp, 1.087 slugging, 40 runs, 46 RBI, and a school-record 14 home runs in 30 games in 2016 as a senior... Voted as Sheldon's Senior Female Athlete of the Year... Received the following honors following her senior year: Delta River League Offensive Player of the Year, Cal-Hi Sports All-State Second Team, All-Metro First Team, Elk Grove Citizen MVP, Sacramento Bee First Team, Rivercats All-City award, United State Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete award, Cal-Hi Sports Northern California Player of the Week, and Comcast Hometown Network Star of the Week... Earned Scholar-Athlete award four straight years... Won Golden Gate Seal Merit Outstanding Academic Achievement honor as a senior... Also competed for California Grapettes club team.

PERSONAL: Majoring in Biology and Sociology… Parents are Wendy and Keith Fukishima… Sibling is Matthew… Interests and hobbies include “connecting to the community by volunteering with my dog, Koda, for the Sacramento SPCA Love on Loan program. As a therapy team, Koda and I visit foster kids and people in assisted-living facilities…” “During my school breaks, I return to work at an Adult Community Training Center to assist adults who have disabilities.” … Chose Cal State East Bay because “I fell in love with the campus culture and diversity.”
