HAYWARD, Calif. — The Cal State East Bay softball team is back in action this weekend, as the Pioneers resume conference play with a four-game set at Stanislaus State on Feb. 14-15.
Friday's doubleheader is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m., with Saturday's action set for 12 p.m. All four contests will have live stats and a live stream will be available to view by purchase.
Cal State East Bay (3-8, 1-3 CCAA) is coming off a doubleheader sweep over Academy of Art at home on Feb. 11, defeating the Knights in the opening game, 8-0, before winning the second contest, 7-1.
Senior pitchers
Abby Greer and
Bailee Glover had spectacular performances in the circle during the two victories. Greer threw a two-hit shutout, while Glover followed by tossing a one-hitter with seven strikeouts in a 7-1 triumph.

Emilie Portesi recorded two hits in the Pioneers' Game 1 win, including a two-RBI double in the fifth inning. Meanwhile, junior catcher
Jeana Gonzales tallied two hits and two RBI in the Game 2 decision.
