HAYWARD, Calif. — Cal State East Bay basketball junior standouts Morgan Greene and Josh Dhatt have been named CSUEB Athletes of the Week.

Greene led the Pioneers with 12.5 points, 15.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.5 blocks in two games last week. The Phoenix Ariz., native shot 52.3 percent from the floor over the weekend, knocking down 3-of-4 shots from the foul line while leading CSUEB with 36 minutes played per game. Greene finished with 17 points, 14 rebounds, three assists and three blocks in East Bay's CCAA Game of the Week victory over Humboldt State on Saturday.

Dhatt averaged 16 points, 3.5 rebounds and two assists off the bench in two Pioneer victories last week. The Yuba City, Calif., native scored 18 points on 8-of-12 shooting in Saturday's home win over Humboldt State, and knocked down 8-of-11 free-throw attempts en route to 14 points with four rebounds in Thursday's victory against Cal State San Bernardino. The junior has scored in double figures in four of the Pioneers' last five contests overall, and is a big reason CSUEB stands alone in first place in the conference standings.
