SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., -- The Cal State East Bay volleyball team opened California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) play this week with a 3-1 loss to rival San Francisco State Tuesday night in the Swamp.

The loss snaps a two game win streak as the Pioneers move to 3-13 on the season with a 2-6 showing in CCAA action. CSUEB also split their "Bay Bridge" season series against SF State after defeating the Gators, 3-1 on October 5 in Pioneer Gymnasium.
