HAYWARD, Calif., -- The Pioneer women's basketball concluded Senior Night with a, 77-56 California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) victory over visiting Cal State Monterey Bay on Saturday night, February 10 in Pioneer Gymnasium.

With their second consecutive win, the Pioneers move to 15-12 in            one season and 10-10 in conference action.

East Bay shook off a tough shooting first half, 9-for-30 (30.0%) to come away with the big victory. The Pioneers was also cold from long distance as well 1-for-8 (12.5%). A frigid first half from the field had the Pioneers down, 26-23 at the intermission.

Sophomore
Morgan Greene (Phoenix, Ariz.) paced the Pioneers with a game-high 17 points on 8-for-13 shooting from the field. Greene added nine rebounds two blocks and an assist in 31 minutes of action.

The Pioneers narrowly edged out the Otters in bout painted area points and rebounds. CSUEB outrebounded Monterey Bay, 39-38 while outscoring them in the paint 32-30 for the contest.

The East Bay reserves compiled 22 points led by 14 points from senior guard
Bri Guillory (Long Beach, Calif.) Â on 3-for-5 shooting from the floor. Guillory added three rebounds and three steals while going 7-for-9 from the charity stripe.

Kayley Hsiung (Bakersfield, Calif.) notched 11 points on 4-for-7 shooting from the court, including 3-for-5 from three-point range.

The Pioneers would battle back after the intermission as they outscored the Otters 43-31 in the second half of play. East Bay shot 53.8% (14-for-26) while going 4-for-10 in the three-point range.

Senior guard
Janae Chamois (Eastvale, Calif.) chipped in seven points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals in 30 minutes. Junior guard
Elayshia Woolridge (Oakland, Calif.) also finished with seven points, a game best five assists, four rebounds as foul trouble limited her to just 22 minutes.
