SAN FRANCISCO -- The Cal State East Bay women's cross country team competed Friday afternoon in the SF State Invitational at Golden Gate Park's Speedway Meadows.
The Pioneers did not register a team score, as they only entered four runners with the rest of the squad scheduled to run next weekend at Sacramento State. It was nonetheless a solid early-season effort for those four East Bay women against an 11-team field that included some of the top schools in the West.
