SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., -- The Cal State East Bay women's basketball team completed the sweep of the West Region Tip-Off Classic with 56-52 win over Academy of Art Saturday afternoon, November 11 in Kezar Pavilion.

Savannah McGill (Lacey, Wash.) and Morgan Greene (Phoenix, Ariz.) led the Pioneers with outstanding performances in the victory. McGill came close to breaking the East Bay record for rebounds in a game as she hauled in a career-best 25 boards. She added 10 points, two assists, two steals and a block in 35 minutes of action. Greene racked up her second consecutive double-double with a team-high 15 points and 10 rebounds on 5-for-9 shooting. She chipped in an assist, a block and a steal in 36 minutes.

Both McGill and Greene earned All-Tournament honors for their performances in Friday and Saturday's contests.

The Pioneers also dominated the battle of the boards 46-31 and bench scoring 23-12. ARTU did have more points in the paint 26-24 and points off turnovers 17-7.

Newcomer Kayla Blair (Fairfield, Calif.) compiled her Pioneer career-high with 11 points. She added two assists, a rebound and a steal in 27 minutes off the bench. Senior guard Bri Guillory paced East Bay with four assists to go along with two points, a rebound and an assist.
