ROHNERT PARK, Calif. -- The Cal State East Bay baseball team split its four-game series with Sonoma State this weekend after dropping both ends of Saturday's doubleheader at Seawolf Diamond. SSU bounced back from two losses to the Pioneers Friday in Hayward to win by final scores of 8-1 and 10-3.
After not playing for two weeks due to rain in the Bay Area, CSUEB is now 13-7 for the season with a record of 4-5 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) following their 2-2 week.

The Pioneers plated three runs in the sixth, as
Chris Porter,
Ryan Wheat, and
