Sam Lavelle, who shot a 78 in the third round, the third-best score on the team.
Third place is the highest the Pioneers have finished in a tournament this season, and they saved their best for the last event of the fall schedule. The East Bay men will compete again on February 25 at Arrowhead Country Club in San Bernardino.
