“We put in a strong effort today,” Pioneer coach

A final attempt by the Pioneers to tie the game came in the 89th minute. Barboza took a corner kick from
Kramer Gudgeon, and had his shot blocked by a Seawolves defender with 50 seconds left in the second half.
“We were dangerous throughout the game, even in the final minute,” Cumbo said. “We
had a great combination in the box and had the ball at our feet inside 12 yards.” “Their GK made a great save. We are continually improving, we're just struggling to score. The team is still very positive and confident.”
