Lujan had a big weekend with the bat to lead the Pioneer baseball team to a series victory on the road at Sonoma State. He opened the series with a 3-for-4 performance Thursday, hit his first home run of the year in a win on Friday, and then drove in a pair of runs in Saturday's comeback victory. Overall, the junior batted .462 for the series (6-for-13) with two doubles, a homer, three runs and three RBI.
